A quiet day for shooting saw 7 shooters attend. Conditions were made a bit uncomfortable with the mozzies making the first appearance for the Spring.
With the November Service Shoot creeping ever closer, today's practice was for the same format which shooters will be put through in the November competition, albeit on 4 stands instead of the planned 7.
Honours for the day went to Ken. New Junior member
Harrison did well at his first attempt at this format.

Four Stand Barricade, 20 Rounds Deliberate and Untimed
On what was a near perfect day for shooting, 12 shooters turned out for the return of the barricades. Shooters rotated between the four stands, having 5 rounds per stand.
Matt must have decided to go easy on the day, putting away the stopwatch and letting each shooter take their time.

Rapid Practice - 5 Shots in 120 seconds with Position Changes
Sniper Practice - 10 Shots over 12 exposures, 3 or 5 second exposures
12 shooters braved the wintery weather conditions, fine one minute then pouring with rain the next. Ultimately the weather won, with only 7 shooters taking the
mound over the three different classes.

Following straight on after the Rimfire Fun Match, the serious business of the 500m sniper shoot took place
We had another good turn out, with 11 shooters taking the
mound over the three different classes.
Some great results with Ken managing a perfect score in the rapid practice.

We had a good turnout today with 13 shooters attending. The weather was near perfect, with very little wind to consider.
Some shooters took advantage of the good conditions and had more than one crack at the distance on the day. All part of the fun and helps hone the skills.
Young Max even managed to pit old man Wayne - well done Max !!
